Giving birth obviously isn't a joke. Picking the right hospital and doctor to help you through it should be taken seriously. I've personally never understood people that wanted to try homebirths, but to each their own. In today's 'Am I The A$$hole?' post, a concerned OP asked if it wold be rude if he didn't offer up his home for his brother's girlfriend to give birth in his home. To give you context, it's their first birth and they're not planning on having medical professionals on the scene. This clearly sounds like a recipe for disaster, and Reddit seems to agree.
