School is so serious, it's often tempting to spice things up with a doodle or two. In fact, some textbook doodles are so good they live a life of their own. Sometimes teachers are chill about it and offer another doodle. Other times, especially if you're drawing a sad face on a test you're absolutely bombing, you're unlikely to get such an enthusiastic response.
