If we've learned one thing here at I Can Has Cheezburger from years and years of covering the funniest and cutest animal content on the entire interwebz, it's that arguably nothing is more wholesome and awwdorable than seeing a newly adopted animal being showered with love and affection by its new hoomans. That's right, we don't think there's anything that's cooler than seeing a pet walk into their forever home for the first time and realize that they can stay their fur-ever!

This is exactly why every week we highlight different but equally incredible transformations that pets undergo before and after being adopted by amazing hoomans.The transformations that can occur even in a relatively short amount of time can be pretty crazy! Honestly, we can get kind of emotional when we see the sheer joy on these animals face after being adopted and taken into a loving home. For them, it really is a second chance at life. Wow look at this amazing 'after' photo! This awwdorable pupper looks so much happier than he did before, the difference is actually astronomical! We're so happy that this doggo found his forever home and can now live out the rest of his deligtful doggo days in a warm and loving environment instead of in a shelter!
