Tumblr Thread: Discovering The Extremely Round Bearded Reedling

Sometimes, you come across something so unique and unexpected on tumblr, you find yourself having to pause. For example, when we saw a picture of the 4 foot tall red-bearded vulture or when we cam across the unbelievably amazing story of swan daddy. Sometimes, a picture just makes you pause, and this time, oh boy did we pause, because tumblr - and we - have discovered the bearded reedling, also known as the roundest bird. 

Now, we have seen quite a few round animals before, but none of them were quite as perfectly round as this one. And something about it is absolutely mesmerizing. One cannot look away from the roundness, so we understand tumblr's reaction, and in a minute, you will understand it too.

    Tell us that you didn't pause. Go ahead, we dare you. This is a perfect circle bird, the roundest orb - a borb, as it is known in the interwebs. It's the kind of bird that is special, that looks like it came from an animation, not from the real world. It is amazing, and oh goodness, we are so glad that we discovered it.

    What gets us the most is the look of this bird. So cute, so wholesome, so adorable, and yet, there is something fierce in its mustache. Somehow, this little being had to have survived the pains of the universe, and we are sure the mustache helped. Live on, little round orb, we support you.
