There's nothing better than watching horrible bosses pay for their mismanagement and mistreatment of people and resources. This one certainly gets his comeuppance in the end.
Redditor u/pthrowaway98p posted to the popular subreddit r/AmITheAsshole to detail how they went about publicly shaming a boss at their old company for yelling and berating an intern who wanted to leave early and take a small amount of time off because her cat was dying. OP sent a company-wide resignation letter and noted the interaction in the email, ensuring that word-of-mouth would spread by the time they did actually leave.
If the company can't survive farewell emails and actually has to block people from their email accounts before their last day then I'd say that they have other much larger issues that they should be dealing with. The best part of this is the boss who berated the intern reached out to OP to yell at OP, too, because now the boss is getting reprimanded for being a jerk.
