Reddit user u/phil6260 is undergoing treatment for cancer at the moment and reached out on the r/videogames subreddit to see if anyone had any suggestions for games that they could play to help kill time during the (inevitable) downtime they would face while undergoing treatment.
User u/CallMeCaptainOrSir commented on the post suggesting 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' and mentioned that they had a copy that they could send to u/phil6260.
u/phil6260 then posted a comment later on stating that they had received the copy! Though they had not been able to play it yet due to side effects resulting from treatment.
It's always so wholesome to see moments like this taking place on the internet. With everything going on on the internet these days it's easy to forget where the internet began; On close tight-knit forums with communities that were looking out for each other.
Really, it's amazing really to see these actions of kindness and good faith occurring and it's the kind of thing that we, here at Fail Blog, once would have said was "Restoring our faith in humanity.'
