Man Tries To Convince Girlfriend To Abandon Her Cats

There are some things that pretty unthinkable, such as abandoning a pet. But imagine what would happen if your boyfriend or girlfriend suggested that you abandon an animal in order to move in with them? One Reddit user faced this exact dilemma. Thankfully, no cats were harmed by the boyfriend's idiotic decision, but that didn't stop the interwebz from making sure the couple understood exactly how awful the man's suggestion was. After all, who would suggest to someone that they should leave their beloved pets?

Here at I Can Has Cheezburger, we love all our goofball kitties. Where we go, they go! In fact, we always tell our pets where we're going before we leave the house, just to be polite about it.     Wow, right off the bat we can say that if you abandon your pets to be with a significant other, then people will think of you as an a-hole. With that being said, there are a lot of options that would not involve abandoning your pet. We hope that the person who posted this can find a solution and keep her pets safe and happy.

    Hmm interesting. Australia is pretty far away from literally anything else, but at the same time, if you want to move with your pets and they don't have any health problems that would make such a long journey impossible for them then you can make it happen. Expensive and a headache, but definitely do able.

    Font - Our original plan was for me to move to the US but after some talking and plan changes he is going to move here. As we were talking about moving I said that I would still really like to move to the US to be with him but I'm worried about my finances and I'm worried about my pet cats.

That really hurt and he turned around and said he had to "charge his phone" I honestly do not feel like I'm being out of line he's always known my morals right from the beginning and I'm pretty upset that it feels like it's me or the cats.     Font - was worried about bringing my cats over because of the costs, being in another country and quarantine for my cats for 6 months for rabies if we were to return to Australia. He turned around and got upset with me saying that I really was letting a big decision like this be affected over some cats. That really hurt
