Watch a Tragic Story Transform Into a Wholesome Relationship Between a Grieving Mama Cat and an Orphaned Kitten

Kittens are the most adorable thing to exist in the universe, I don't care if you don't agree with me. That's why it is so extra tragic when a mama cat gives birth to a liter of kittens and none of them survive… I'm tearing up just thinking about it. TikToker Gina aka @ginahasacat recently had to go through this tragedy with her Kitty LuLu when she got pregnant. They were excited for her cat to have kittens of her own, but were worried due to her age and size—Lulu is still pretty young and is smol. When a cat is too young or too small, kittens can be born underdeveloped and thus not make it once they are born. It's heartbreaking when you have to go through this—especially for the mama cat! 

After her cat Lulu lost all five of her kittens, Gina could see how her heart was broken. She seemed lethargic and just sad. It was obvious she was grieving her lost babies. So, although Gina only intended to have one cat in her life, she decided to find a kitten for her cat to adopt. 

“Watch my grown cat Lulu—who lost her kittens—fall in love with my new kitten Peggy.”

Gina found a smol black kitten that she named Peggy. The kitten instantly fell in love with her new mama, Lulu. And only after a few sniffs, Lulu was also completely enamored. Now the two are inseparable and Lulu is fully taking care of Peggy as if she were her own baby. You can find Lulu giving Peggy a motherly bath, she curls around her and keeps her warm with her cuddles as they snooze, and she shows her how to play and overall act like a cat. 

“It's not my kitten, it's Lulu’s kitten.”

The happy ending to this tragic story is truly healing the hearts of viewers. Gina could have left her cat to figure out her sad emotions on her own, but couldn't stand the sight of her cat being depressed. As a good cat mama, she wanted to heal the pain in her fur baby's heart, so she made room for a second kitty in her's.
