Twitter Thread: Man Adopts A Baby Frog He Discovers In His Salad
Be careful when eating salad - that's the message of this twitter thread. After a few days of most likely having an existential crisis in the fridge, @simoncurtis finally found the little frog that was hiding at the bottom of his lettuce box. Of course, being a wonderful human, Simon didn't want to let the awwdorable frog freeze in the cold outside, so he reached out to twitter, asking for advice about what to do to help the frog survive.
And thankfully, the frog survived. Of course, it also turned out to be an incredibly dramatic frog that kept disappearing and hiding around the apartment. A lot of drama and one poll later, Simon decided to adopt the frog, and the story turned out to be one of the most wholesome adoption stories we have come across in a long, long time. We cannot even imagine the shock of finding this little guy in the lettuce box. We think our first reaction would have been: wtf, and the second one would have been: thank goodness it's still alive. So much could have gone wrong until you found it. We're glad it happened in the hands of someone so kind.
