It's time for cats, people! Like… let's be real, we're on the internet, and that means that it's time for cats always. But! This gathering is a special one. This gathering is for true cat people only. Because here, in this weekly segment, we don't just appreciate how adorable cats are. And they are adorable, we know it, trust us. Here, we appreciate cats for other things too.

We appreciate moments when cats are overly spoiled and somehow still grumpy. We appreciate it when cats are total heckin' jerks who ruin everything in their path. Because everything - everything - about cats is purrfect. Call us crazy cat people all you want. We know we're whipped. We're perfectly aware. But in this gathering, we don't feel any shame about it.

We cannot imagine what a cat that looks so loving and gentle and wholesome could have possibly done to deserve being returned to the shelter three times, but we are so glad that this is the last time. Truly, he looks like he will be the bestest boy to have as a pet. Thank you for taking him in. You have done a wonderful thing.

Sometimes, when cats are kind of traumatized by being outside, it could just take this long. Generally, we would suggest trying to put out wet food, giving it space, talking to it in comforting tones. In this case though, we think calling a vet should be the priority, make sure that the cat is healthy. Odds are a vet would have the best advice.
