This is not one of those situations where you want to split the bill.
This woman invited a student out for a date. When it came time to pay the bill she expected him to pay for her $110 lobster and wine when his meal and beer were only $17.50.
It's pretty obvious from her reaction that she thought she would be able to get away with ordering high-priced food and then reduce her cost by "splitting the bill" or getting him to outright pay for it.
Dining situations like this are always awkward when you're out for dinner with people who order a lot of drinks and jack up the joint cost of a split bill. It's one of the reasons I prefer having everyone just pay for their own items and try to avoid restaurants that don't provide that option.
Unfortunately, this predatory "dating" behavior seems to be pretty common still. There are entire subreddits dedicated to the practice of manipulating your way into free meals on dates.
