Do Cats Sulk: Internet Responds With Awwdorable Stories

Hi friends, who here has a pet who sulks sometimes when they don't get what they want? We know that we here at I Can Has Cheezburger we always tell our pets where we're going before we leave the house, just in case they worry about us after we leave. We know that we worry about them, but a little animal humor adds so much to our lives. Anyway, a Quora user asked whether cats are capable of sulking, and the internet answered: heck yes!

    Sounds like this feline was having a pretty heckin' hard day. We know the feeling, being moved around is scary, and getting transported around with no idea where you're going can't be easy for any animal, let alone this poor feline. It happens to us every now and then as well. We suggest seeking out a can of tuna and taking a deep breath.

    Font - When it arrived, I tried to get Sweetpea and Honey used to it by first leaving it out with food inside for a few days before carrying one around the neighborhood at night so they'd get used to it. Well, Sweetpea didn't take to it. In fact, she was hissing and growling for a good while before calming down.     Font - Polly Fukuhara You funny story of Honey reminded me of a story too. I had four dobermans. The runt had hurt her back so when I took the other three for a walk I left her behind. When I got back I had never seen a dog look sadder than she did that afternoon. So I got her in the car and drove around the neighborhood for a few minutes. Then I parked the car in a shady spot and we sat there for another twenty minutes so she would not feel cheated time wise. She was a happy dog after that.

    Dog - Jamie P. Not just that when it comes to a dog my house looks like a toddler playground. That's exactly what it reminds me of is when my children were toddlers and threw their toys everywhere. I have cats and dogs and I find that the dog is the most difficult. However animals also can do things out of their element. My dog is a maltipoo so he is not a big dog him and my one long-haired calico are literally best friends to the point where the dog does things like a cat and the cat does thing

One of my cats refused for years to even enter my bedroom because I was cleaning and got rid of a cardboard box that was "his box".     Handwriting - Janet Cooper Sulk my 15 year old sparkie slept with me every night if I went to bed without him he would wake me taping my lips for a goodnight kiss. Got a kitten may 2019 he didn't sleep in my room he had his own bed and night space. But Sparkie has not entered my room since and if I pick him up and take him in he hisses and growls definitely sulking.

    Font - Linda Carroll I've noticed that they also have ways of punishing us if they are displeawed. My cat II Duce didn't eat if I went away, always leaving him in excellent hands This was to make me feel guilty when I came home and found him as thin as a rake. My other cat, Winner, would sulk by giving me filthy looks (been away again) and then not speaking to me for days. I'm an English woman who has been living in Rome since 1982 and have always been a total cat slave and they always know it.
