Delusional Boyfriend Refuses To Split The IKEA Bill With GF For Their Shared Home

The OP in this story willingly went to IKEA with his girlfriend and agreed to the things she was putting into the cart. They just moved in together, so naturally they needed essentials to make their home feel more like a home. OP is used to a bachelor lifestyle and needs to learn about comprises and working together. He didn't think it was necessary to have rugs, soap dispensers or bed side tables - you know normal and typically needed stuff. The bill came out to $1,400 and OP's girlfriend asked the cashier to split bill in half. OP was mortified and made a big scene in front of everyone.
