Brides and grooms should be able to choose what they want their wedding to look like, and who they want to attend. If that doesn't include kids, it should be their decision. It's their special day, and they shouldn't have to work around other people's preferences to accommodate them. Twitter user @AliseMorales hilariously went off in a Twitter thread in which she said refuses to pay tons of money for kids to ruin her wedding simply by acting like children. It's simply not the vibe. Even parents chimed in to say that the best weddings they ever attended were the ones they attended without their kids. We also don't get why parents would be opposed to getting a break from their kids for a while. We get that they have to splurge on a babysitter for the night, but being child-free for the night at the open bar sounds worth it to us.
What we find tacky is people that drive the bride and groom crazy over their decision to have a child-free wedding. It's their special day. Get a babysitter and shut up.
Alise is taking 'honesty is the best policy' to the next level.
