Awful Boss Tricks Employee Into Thinking They're Getting Free Dinner, Takes Entire Bill Out of Paycheck

When you work a shitty minimum wage job at a place like Papa John's, you should at least get to eat for free. Redditor u/limearitaa wasn't even expecting a free meal from their boss when they came in to Papa John's on their night off. Just the regular discount. “Plus, he may have broken another law. Look at the total amount of money you got paid, after he took the money out for the food but before anything else is deducted (taxes, etc.). Divide that by the number of hours you worked on that check. If the result you get is less than the minimum wage in your state, your boss is in trouble.” said u/Throwthrowyourboat72.
