“Plus, he may have broken another law. Look at the total amount of money you got paid, after he took the money out for the food but before anything else is deducted (taxes, etc.). Divide that by the number of hours you worked on that check. If the result you get is less than the minimum wage in your state, your boss is in trouble.” said u/Throwthrowyourboat72.
