The OP in this story is an expectant grandmother. She is so excited for her daughter and son-in-law (SIL) to have a child. However, she was not excited to hear that they had expensive expectations for her. The SIL had the audacity to tell OP that any 'decent' grandparent would shell out money on their own to set up a nursery in their house for their grandchildren. OP would love to do this if she had the financial means and the room in her house. But that just isn't her reality. SIL is well off and and out of touch. Not to mention, OP still has two teenagers living in her house. They are 14 and 16 years old and have their own rooms. SIL and OP's daughter insist that OP should force them into one room and make the other room into a nursery. OP stood her ground and said she would not force this on her teens who live there full time - unlike this newborn baby. Help the moral judges of Reddit to decide who is in the right.
