Anyone who's suffered through a job they despise has fantasized about ditching work and never coming back, which is why @idontevencarethoo_'s viral TikTok of a coworker quitting in front the whole company is so satisfying to hear. Keep scrolling to live vicariously through one stranger's triumphant "I quit."
@idontevencarethoo_'s coworker starts off by mentioning that she was sick with Covid. Someone else asks how she's feeling.
"I'm better. I told [inaudible] and Kevin, so I was kinda confused about why Kevin was emailing me asking me where I was at" the coworker replies, "anyways, that's not why I joined the meeting...I don't know how y'all are going to take this. Quite honestly, I do not care...this is me telling you guys that I am leaving the company."
Everyone loves to see an unhappy worker triumphantly quit their job, and so did this comment section.
"Normalize leaving jobs THAT DO NOT WORK FOR YOU!!!" Said @peachyk331. "Who cares that my resume looks like I hop around, I'm finally happy where I am bc of 'job hopping'"
"As someone in HR, I support this 110%. A taste of their own medicine." Replied @w_floressss.
"She's not bitter. She's BETTER." Said @mordecainuccio.
Quitting a job can be terrifying for most people, especially if you don't have something lined up first. But saying "I quit" to a horrible boss feels damn good.
"Imaoo. I gave birth and my boss was calling me the NEXT day asking if I had access to a computer to work while in the hospital. u know i quit." Said @janny1193.
