Entitled Karen Moves In With Brother And His Wife Rent Free, Demands They Get Rid Of Pets

Is it just us, or are Karens getting bolder and more entitled by the day? On today's episode of 'Karen is an entitled no good rotten a-hole,' we have a classic example of someone feeling WAY too comfortable telling others what to do under the guise of 'family.' The original poster of this thread spells out beautifully how she and her husband house and foster many animals that would not otherwise have a chance. These animals have various issues and ailments, and OP cares for them out of the kindness of her heart. Some are her long-term pets, and some of the animals are fosters that she anticipates will be adopted soon, but needed a place in the meantime. We applaud any person who does such good deeds for animals in need! 

Now, onto OP's sister-in-law, broke entitled Karen. When OP and her husband offer Karen a free place to stay after she loses her job, Karen accepts, but not without screaming and yelling about OP's pets along the way. Karen so kindly offers that OP should board her animals if she is not willing to get rid of them. Of course, she does not offer to pay for this exuberantly expensive service. As Karen gets crazier and more intense about her demands to kick the pets to the curb, OP rightfully gets fed up. Oh, and by the way, OP is heavily pregnant. So not only does Karen mooch of her brother and his wife by staying at their house rent-free, she causes endless drama and terrorizes a heavily pregnant woman who has done nothing but offer her kindness and support. It's a big fat NTA for us on this one. Time for SIL Karen to be re-homed.

    Font - I (28F) am married to Josh(30M). We've been together since freshman (him junior) year of college. We have a lot of pets in the house- 3 dogs, 3cats, a bunny, a turtle, a snake and a macaw. We love all of them and spent a lot of time making sure we take care of them. I am on maternity leave currently and my due date is in three months.     OP and her husband are clearly charitable people with hearts of gold, and sometimes being charitable with a heart of gold makes one vulnerable to be taken advantage of. We'd say that is exactly what is happening here.

    SIS. Karen is clearly taking advantage of your kindness!! And why is she not searching for a job? Having the flu does not hinder your ability to open a computer and hop on Linkedin! She clearly is in no rush to leave, yet wants you to get rid of your pets. Comical.

    Font - My SIL got pissy, said I was prioritising a stray mutt to her health and said I was right, the stray wasn't the issue. I could keep it, but I gotta board it in a pet hotel along with her puppies and our animals.     Font - Edit (last one I promise) I have no intention of keeping my rescue mama and puppies. That is 10 dogs they are getting adopted out people. I WON'T keep them. I am not hoarding them.
