Videogames will let you do some pretty fantastically heinous things. Hell, without even thinking about it, we've destroyed entire civilizations of bug-men, beat up our closest friends, and driven busses down crowded sidewalks with reckless abandon. But that's all in-game. Very few things you can do in a video game will ever actually affect a real-life person, and that's for the best.
This person answered the question "What is the most messed up thing you have ever done in any video game?" and while one would think that the scope was limited to trapping Sims in their own burning houses or not petting the dog in Fallout, this person actually came up with something that makes us lose our faith in humanity. And that's hard to do man, we didn't realize that we had a whole lot of that left.
People spend a whole lot of time on video games, and one way to truly affect someone through a videogame is to attack their time. Which is, in a sense, what this person did. They are not the good guy in this story.
