Blatant Liars Telling Stories About Their Pets That Clearly Never Happened

Some people are just terrible liars. For example, the total jerk face who tried to stop stray cats from being fed on his property by lying and saying the cats were endangering the mental health of his dog. That was… a pretty terrible lie, but also a pretty terrible guy for saying that in the first place. We never really understand why people say these things, but we also don't understand how someone can stay hooked on weaving webs of lies when they're just super bad at it.

It's especially weird to us since there are so many true stories that are larger than life but completely real. Such as the as the cat who got donated to a thrift store by mistake after hiding in an old armchair with a hole in it, or the dog who saved its humans' life by cuddling with it for hours, crazy right? Perhaps these liars think that their stories are just as believable, or just as credible sounding, but they're definitely not.Fortunately, Reddit is full of truth defending warriors, and so is most of the online world, so if you're someone who likes to spread internet lies, be warned, these people are ready to call out all the BS they see.

To quote Reddit user Jtmichel "It's never not the best part of the story. Although I'm surprised the manager didn't give her $1,000 too. And the fish jumped out of their tanks so their claps could be heard." Another user pointed out that they don't think they've ever seen 10 people crowded around in a pet store before, which is actually another really good point.

Um… what? Since when do cats have thumbs? Anyone who owns a cat knows that cats do not have the ability to pick up individual pieces of kibble and arrange them like this. For one thing if this was a real cat the bowl would be completely empty in the center where cats love to stick their faces.
