Ah neighbors, so many people have horror stories about not-so-nice neighbors. Such as the local Karen who tried to ban a new neighbor's dog from the neighborhood after her husband hit on the new girl. Sometimes when it comes to owning a home, you can't afford to live in an area without them, but can't quite afford to live nearby them either. Whether your neighbors act pretty creepy or try to steal your cat or dog, either way its definitely not a pretty sight. But imagine if you found out that your pet had gone missing, and your neighbors had taken in the pet and didn't want to give it back. Here at I Can Has Cheezburger, that sounds like our worst nightmare.
Our pets are so important to us, we'd be devastated if something like this happened and we had to ""cat-nap" them in order to get them back in our arms safe and sound. But that's exactly what happened to this Reddit user when he decided to leave his cat alone with his grandparents. The cat, who is adorably named Fluffbut, really got itself into a pickle after, in OP's words, "Our apartment had to have a new kitchen done, so we temporarily relocated Fluffbutt to my grandparents so he won't stress out or escape. My grandparents loved him and really enjoyed his company. Two days ago, Fluffbutt sneaked out from my grandparents' flat into the apartment building". Take a look:
Awww, cats are the cutest. Also, Fluffbut sounds like a pretty awwdorable name for a young cat. We're happy this duo found their way back to one another, even if a little bit of theft was involved in one way or another. We wonder where this suburban neighborhood is where all of this drama started in the first place. Perhaps now that the story is going viral we'll find out…
Oh no, this is starting to sound like a scary story, we wonder how exactly this will end up going for everybody involved…
