It's been a very long ride of ups and downs with Euphoria Season 2, and we're not sure we're quite ready to say goodbye just yet. There are so many things left unanswered, and yet we still have to wait for what will seem like an eternity for Season 3. While there were moments of Season 2 that were way too slow, there were also moments that kept us on the edge of our seats. When we weren't on the edge of our seats, we were laughing our butts off. We know Euphoria isn't generally associated with laughter because of the serious content involved, but there's always a little comic relief in there to take the pressure off. Plus, it seems like Tik Tok and Twitter have made it a mission to turn every aspect of the show into a meme, no matter how serious it is. If you haven't seen the season finale yet, it's not safe to go on those platforms if you don't want to see spoilers via the hilarious memes and videos the fans of the show have produced. That's our cue to remind you not to scroll down if you don't want to see spoilers just yet. Don't say we didn't warn you. Go watch the finale ASAP. It's taking you too long. This is the last time we're going to remind you: SPOILERS AHEAD.
Ashtray is way too trigger-happy when he feels like the vibes are off in any given situation, which would be fine and dandy if he didn't bring down Fez with him. When you work in the business that these two work in, you can't just go around killing people whenever you feel like it. As we learned from the season finale, it's not very good for business. We get that Ash is a kid and doesn't think of the consequences of his actions before going ahead and doing them, and we get why he's extremely paranoid given the line of business he's in and how he was raised. That doesn't mean he has to take down Fez with him. The little dude had us on the edge of our seats the entire episode.
Nobody understands why Elliot needed to take up as much of the episode as he did with his seemingly neverending song. We were super invested with the action scene happening with Fez and Ashtray, and yet Sam Levinson (the creator behind the show) thought it would be great to put in this little musical number that literally nobody asked for. When it comes to Taylor Swift, we were happy to listen to the 10-minute version of a song, but with Elliot? Not so much. Don't get us wrong: the actor that plays Elliot also happens to be an incredible singer, but the season finale was not the time and place for this wonderful performance.
