Poorly Edited Instagram Photos That Are So Obvious It Hurts
Editing can be addicting. As someone who works in social media, I can tell you that first-hand. There are about a million ways to make yourself look better. We all start off in the same way, whitening out teeth here and there, maybe upping the saturation to make us look tanner, maybe deleting a few blemishes since they're only temporary. It's all super innocent in the beginning, but then before you know it you're completely reshaping your body, and there are even people who go out of their way to edit their friends' bodies in their Instagram pictures as well. Personally, that would be traumatic.
We all strive to look effortlessly perfect, but it's just an unreasonable ambition. Over-editing photos can really cause us to hyper-focus on the things we consider to be our 'flaws' and it's an endless cycle. That being said, sometimes the editing job is so obvious, you have to laugh a little. Some people will literally delete their features, rather than smooth them out. It's pretty entertaining.
