Is it just us, or are people are getting bolder and more outrageously ridiculous by the day? We here at ICanHasCheezburger are just sitting back and soaking it all in, and laughing in the background. BUT- whenever there are animals involved, we get downright emotional. People really be letting their own selfish needs take precedence when they got dogs at home that need their care and support.
And that brings us to another episode of 'what the hell was this guy thinking' as we visit this emotion-provoking Reddit thread posted by a woman whose husband went MIA for 45 days. Oh, and this is while they had a baby and a dog at home. 45 days, man. And what's his excuse? Well, he was off biking across Italy of course. Perfectly reasonable. Only it's not, it's actually ridiculously unreasonable. Meanwhile, OP was at home tending to her baby, and stressing about the whereabouts of her husband. We do not blame her for giving away her husband's dog. She found a home that would be much more suited to the dog, considering that the dog had been her husband's responsibility alone. And then this man has the audacity to come home and get mad at her for making the compassionate decisions and rehoming the dog? We can't, we can't even. Something just doesn't add up here!
We say, nope.
"We bought the dog together but it was entirely my ex's responsibility if that makes sense. He does all the work, we jointly paid for her."
Seems pretty clear cut to us.
"Four months ago my ex disappeared for 45 days without any warning."
BIG red flag vibes. What on earth?!
Nah, sis. You did what you had to do.
