Women Discuss What's Missing In Modern Courtship

People are always claiming that concepts such as chivalry and romance are dead, but that's simply not the case. Yes, our attitudes towards dating have changed, but the basic ingredients are still there. We can still have chivalry and romance. These concepts just manifest themselves in different ways when it comes to the dating world today. While hookup culture has become very prevalent, romance can exist in the same world, and we're oh, so grateful for the diversity of relationships that exist in the world. In today's AskWomen post, a Redditor asked women what aspects of dating they think have ceased to exist over the years. Times are always changing, and the expectations of dating are naturally changing along with the times. Many women brought up the fact that people aren't invested and passionate about pursuing someone as they used to be back in the day. We're guilty of not getting too invested out of fear that our feelings will get hurt, so we're definitely gonna write that reason down on our list.
