Women Reveal Acts Of Chivalry They Appreciate

They say chivalry is dead, but we're not sure if that statement is entirely true. After all, what makes up the rules of chivalry? Hold the door open for a lady, retrieve an item that she may have dropped (not that any of us own handkerchiefs anymore), put on her coat, walk her to her door, or make sure she gets home safe. True gentlemen don't even have to study the rules. The rules are already ingrained in their behavior, which is what makes them so incredibly attractive. Yes, we're strong, independent women, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate little acts of chivalry. If you show your appreciation for us, we'll show appreciation right back. There are plenty of women out there that still appreciate acts of chivalry, including a kiss on the hand or a hand on the small of the lower back. On an AskWomen post, women shared what acts of chivalry they appreciate the most.

    We love when dudes carry stuff for us. Our dainty little bodies could never handle it on our own. Okay, the truth is we're lazy and we simply don't want to carry anything.
