The world is definitely changing, and social media is one of the greatest indicators of the new reality. Before social media, none of us really had any idea what went down in peoples' personal lives. When we met a guy on the street, we exchanged phone numbers, not snaps. We didn't know that they went home and ate chipotle that night. It was probably better that way. Now we have far too much exposure to the dynamics of someone's family life, and it's not as if anyone is forced to partake in social media and expose themselves, it just feels that way.
There are plenty of people who are not interested in sharing their lives with their friends, much less the entire internet via their accounts, and such people should be allowed to exist offline without being forced into being someone else's 'content.' This man exploits his 71-year-old grandfather and family on his youtube channel to potentially go viral one day, and it seems that everyone has had enough.
