When people stereotype feminists, they think of them as very angry beings, yelling and burning bras until the break of dawn. If you're a fellow feminist, you're well aware that's not the case. A Reddit user started a thread about how women rebel against the patriarchy in subtle ways. Some of the responses are serious, whereas others made us chuckle.     This question is v interesting. Usually, when people think of feminists, they think of loud, angry types that never stop yelling at the world. So this is a def a different spin of fighting against the patriarchy in a subtle way.

    I am against calling people any of these things. Honey, sweetheart, champ, or sport shouldn't be normalized because they all gross me out. I thought we were in 2021, and these words were not a part of the future I was personally envisioning for ourselves.

And I try to never miss a chance to model ferocity and feminism to the many young women in my life. If I can change even one misogynistic sentence that's in their mind then maybe their life will be different, better. Empowered women empower women.

I respond by putting the phone on loudspeaker and asking my husband the same question loudly: "Hubby you planning to make something special? Moms askin". He shudders and she's taken aback. Once or twice she had the audacity to go forward with "No what have "you' made?". I had to bluntly answer: 'nothing, have tons of office work to do'. She hasn't earned a penny in her life

    Font - gryffingirl_ 1 hour ago Every time I have my period I carry my tampons and pads in a very open fashion to the public bathrooms. When I was younger I always tried to hide these items because I was embarassed. I also stopped whispering to ask whether somebody has a tampon to share.
