Brother’s Doggos Reunite After 7 Months: Reddit Rejoices

The pandemic has separated a lot of us from our loved ones over the past few years– and our pets are no exception to that. With how inaccessible travel has been, I've been missing friends and family a lot. At least I can FaceTime and call those people, or look at pictures to remember good times when we were together, but what are our pets supposed to do?

And it's not just the pandemic we're dealing with here! As we all work, grocery shop, make our homes, and live our lives, our pets are doing the exact same thing– maybe minus the grocery shopping. So, don't you think it'd be nice to make sure they see their friends every now and again?

One Redditor was faced with that dilemma and decided to give his doggo a special treat. Reddit user u/iamnotvalhalla called up his brother, and his brother's dog Shiloh, and set up a meeting for the whole family in a local park. But, he kept it as a surprise to his dog, and you just have to see how excited he gets when his best friend arrives!

Both dogs get the zoomies, they've got big giant smiles on their faces, the brothers are laughing, and it's some of the most heartwarming content you'll see all week. One of the more interesting parts of this thread was people's diverse opinions on leash-use. Except, spoiler alert, this should not be a debate. Leashing your dog is a safe and responsible way to protect yourself, your neighbors, and your pet. Even if you have the most docile dog in the world, if someone else or their pet isn't being responsible, it could lead to serious problems.
