First of all, we want to say that we truly appreciate every single cat-loving human out there on Planet Earth who is willing to see a disabled cat for what they truly are, a bundle of feline delight that just might look a little different from everyone else. Much like with our human friends, we celebrate people's differences and all of the attributes that make them unique, the same can be said of cats and purrty much any animal!
So it makes perfect sense that we were fuming throughout our reading of this ridiculous thread. The first audacious move was made by, surprise surprise, sister of OP, Mother of OP's niece and nephews, and neighborhood Karen. She threw her kids at her brother for some free babysitting while she enjoyed an adult night out. There is nothing inherently wrong with this act, it's just an interesting aspect to keep in mind while working your way through the rest of the insanity contained here. Fasten your seatbelts, y'all. This one is a wild ride.
NONONONONONONO.
We have to say- we love that OP chose to name a blind cat 'stargazer.' So fetch.
Okay, things are off to a simple start. We like it. And we are anxious to hear what comes next.
NO NO a million times no. In this situation, we might just have cut off this sister and her husband altogether. How dare they judge stargazer based on her physical appearance?? That cat has been through more than sister and BIL probably have been in their entire life. Don't want to bring your kids over anymore? No problem, have fun paying for a babysitter.
