We don't know about you guys, but we consider ourselves pretty lucky to be living and co-existing among such unique creatures. Just think about it, magnificent animals of all sorts of sizes, shapes, and breeds. From the smallest and cuddliest of kittens to the mightiest and most powerful jaguars. Animals are amazing, and we are so grateful that we get to celebrate them every day by sharing stories, memes, and other publications.
We celebrate animals because they bring us sincere joy and contempt. And we hope that we do the same for you. Introducing our new weekly segment Animal Facts Friday where we highlight interesting facts about the animal kingdom. Household pets are a common topic of discussion among us, but today we thought we'd shine a light on wild animals that are a bit more uncommon. Ever heard of the great eared nightjar? The opiliones? How about the chirodectes? Oh boy, just wait to see what we've got in store for you. You won't regret it.
So basically, Mr. Potato Puffer is the water equivalent to a gecko. They change color in order to avoid danger as well as to camouflage from potential prey. But ouch, spending that much time buried in the sand can probably cause some serious nasal issues. But on the bright side, they're probably super patient and zen.
These hard-working queens are giving us liddo piggy vibes. And their ears look like pieces of corn. It honestly cannot get more wholesome than this. Pretty amazing to think these little guys exist somewhere in the world. Anyone up for a road trip to Honduras for some Honduran white bats sightseeing?
