  • Font - Hey, I need you to cover Jasper's shift tonight. Hey Mark, sorry I'm unable to cover the shift tonight because l'm studying for my exam tomorrow. It is your responsibility to be available for your shifts, I expect you to be available for tonight's shift. I understand that it's my responsibiliy to be available for my shift, but today is my day off. Since I wasn't scheduled for today it is unfair that you're demanding that I work tonight. Tam not demanding, but I am extremely disappointed.
  • Font - I am very confused on what you're disappointed about. I was not scheduled for today's shift and as a manager it is your responsibility to find someone that IS available for tonight, and NOT FORCE someone that isn't available to cover a shift. With that being said I am quitting today. I will not be giving my 2 weeks. Thank you for this opportunity and goodluck with your future endeavours. Are you kidding me? Not giving a 2 week notice is incredibly unprofessional. Let's talk about this whe

  • Font - Widespreaddd - 5 hr. ago I expect you to be available for tonight's shift. (Translation: Power play) I am not demanding. (Backpedaling) I am disappointed. (Bullshit guilt attempt) ad nauseum Hope your exam went great (oh fi k, I overplayed my hand) 1.6k Reply Share Freedom_From_Pants · 2 hr. ago It is so insane that these managers think that employees should be available 24/7. If they want more availability, they need to pay more. How about that on-call pay, otherwise get fi.'ked. Vote Re

  • Font - Agreeable-Weather-89 · 3 hr. ago manager hints at firing Employee: I quit. Manager: Don't be so rash we can talk. I've seen dozens of these the manager NEVER apologizes. Ever. It's always we can talk about it. Nothing to talk about just say "I'm sorry, I acted harshly, I can personally say I won't be as unreasonable in the future but I understand that probably won't change your position. If that's the case I wish you the best of luck" Can you imagine any manager ever saying that? Vote Rep
