Trends are inherently controversial, not in the most dramatic sense, but people tend to look at them in very different ways. Some people very much actively aspire to be on-trend, they check out what music is at the top of the charts and make sure they download them right away, and they always know the fashion do's and don't's for the next season because they keep up with all of the runway shows. These people are definitely nice to have around, you don't need to go any further to know what's hot right now because they did all of the research weeks ago.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, there are people who despise passing fads. You can often find them arguing that "Classic and timeless is ALWAYS better." They don't change their wardrobe according to any fashion predictions and refuse to order foods like charcoal ice cream, and mac and cheese pizza. They may be right, that simple is better. But we think the sweet spot is someone who has their own personal belief system but is willing to try new things every day.
On Reddit, people are sharing some trends that they are not a big fan of, and these answers are very honest.
