It is impossible to truly prepare yourself for marriage. You can prepare yourself for planning a wedding, or a bachelorette party, even for buying a home, but marriage is unpredictable. Or perhaps too predictable sometimes. The fact of the matter is that no two marriages are the same. You may think you have a similar dynamic as another couple because you both met around the same age or had the same amount of shared experiences but nope. It doesn't work like that. Your dynamic is your, and it can be beautiful, boring, beautifully boring. Really there are just a million directions that a marriage can go in. We would say that no matter what goes down in one's marriage, good or bad, it is always good to have a sense of humor.
