Ah, friendship. The older we get, it seems the more choices we become when picking out our friends. Perhaps this is because in elementary school we only have a few people to choose from, so being picky only really results in being a friendless loser. But in adulthood, it's a whole new ballgame. We can find people who have similar interests/career goals as us. We can find people who grew up with similar backgrounds, and that understand us on a deeper level. But if we're being honest with ourselves, we don't really choose people to be in our lives necessarily because they make us better people, sometimes the literal opposite is true. And that's okay, or at least we think so. It's all about balance people, as long as you have several good influences you can have a bunch of other people who ring out the crazy in you as well.
