Adulting is no joke. Nobody warns you about how hard it's going to be to human one day. Seriously, parents need to stress how important it is to pay attention to them doing very regular tasks because unless we pick it up from home, it's very possible we will never pick it up at all. THis is coming from someone who fully lives in an apartment with a dishwasher and has used it once. Am I embarrassed? Obviously. But will I suck up my pride and learn how to use it efficiently? Absolutely not.
