There once was a mysterious meme that seemed to curse anyone who came across it. Legend has it that this strange meme was haunted by an internet ghost who would use the meme to bewitch its viewer into a chronic and incurable internet addiction. Once transfixed by the meme, the victim's energy is sucked into the internet and fed upon by the wicked ghost. Terrifyingly, the haunted meme is a shapeshifter, and can adapt to new trends and formats. Some say the meme can even transform into a video, TikTok, or tweet. Though stumbling upon it is extremely rare, any image macro on the internet is potentially the haunted meme—there's really no way to tell. Although…some say that the longer you stay on the internet, the more vulnerable and thus attractive you are to the haunted meme's energy-sucking powers. May this be a warning to all those who search for dank memes on the internet.
