Living in a neighborhood with a lot of stray animals can be tough for animal lovers like us to deal with. When you care so deeply about the well-being of all the different living creatures around you, it's hard to resist the desire to take every stray animal into your own home. Sometimes, the best you can do is put out some kibble and keep an eye out to make sure all of the animals look healthy.
Still, what do we do if an animal looks like it could be suffering, or it has an ailment that we don't know how to deal with? Having a friend who works as a vet on speed dial is always nice, but we don't all have that luxury. Sometimes, the internet is going to be our best bet to figure out what's going on with these animals, and Reddit is always a great place to start. So, this week, one concerned neighbor turned exactly there when they realized a local stray had been getting a little more rotund. They couldn't tell whether this adorable white kitten with gray stripes across its back was being fed more frequently, or if something else was going on. So, they turned to Reddit with some pictures and tried to make sure this kitten would get all the help that it needed. Answers poured in from concerned cat lovers who wanted to help, and by the end of the thread, we were left with little, smol tears dripping out of our eyes. We pulled the best pictures of the kitty, and the best comments from the thread for you to enjoy, so go ahead, enjoy!
Look at this poor little kitty. They're probably pregnant, and so cold! Thankfully though, this Redditor made sure to keep feeding them and looking out for them. And, the cat is thankfully still looking out for itself too, making sure to eat, and only visiting with friendly people. At the end of this whole endeavor, we're really hoping the Redditor offered the kitten a home, but we're still waiting for an update on that one.
This was one of the most informative comments from this thread, as a vet assistant chimed in to make sure that all of Reddit knew- this cat is definitely pregnant! They warned that if a stray cat is pregnant and friendly, people have to be really careful to let the cat take care of her babies, and not try to move her far away after she's given birth. They suggested that OP either collar the cat, or give her a place at home to give birth, and we're hoping that OP picked the latter.
