Relationships should always be 50/50…Not necessarily when broken down into different elements of life…but when totaled together. If one partner is working extremely hard to be the giver, while the other person is set on the role of being the constant receiver, the relationship is most likely going to fizzle out faster than it started. Ask this boyfriend, or more correctly, 'newly-single' man, for instance! He just ended his relationship after 14 months of being the sole 'provider' in his household. Yet, it wasn't about the money that pushed him to break up with his girlfriend, but her lack of care to contribute anything to their household and relationship…

She wasn't really looking for a job, and every time he mentioned helping out more around the house, she pulled the "I'm not your maid" card. In simple terms, she was happy with leeching off her man, while he did everything. He officially had enough of her freeloading…But what he did not expect was having to deal with her opinionated friends firing shots at him and his character as a result…We guess mess attracts mess.
