The fact of the matter is that there are plenty of things about existence that can be unpleasant, and our will to live depends on the fact that we can ignore that some of the time. You are totally going to be a professional dancer in Hollywood, even though you got pushed to the back of the stage in your second grade ballet recital. Plus he was always going to text you back, because it's completely normal to "fall asleep" at 11am when you work a 9 to 5.
