Font - So I just refused to go. I just didn't go. They gave me a two week notice and I was fired. Come around to a few days after my termination, and they start texting me saying 'VWell you don't have kids, so how about covering for us? Huh? Huh? Huh?" And my response is "I was literally fired, so NO." I also told them that I would accept it for $4000 per 8 hour shift and $1000 for any hour after that. I'm sure you can guess their response. They acted like I was the one being unreasonable becaus

Font - Edit: Wow guys, thanks for the response! Yes, I live in the US where our workers rights are utter dogsh.t! The cost of travel, food, and shelter were all to be handled by me. That's why it would end up in the red. I am also a 27F fyi. A lot of people assume I was a dude lol

Font - d4rkwing · 7 hr. ago Couldn't they just close down over Easter Weekend? Seems like it would solve at least the immediate problem. 276 Reply Share •.. SheWhoLovesToDraw · 6 hr. ago What?! And expect people to NOT be a part of the hustle and grind for two solid days?! Society as we know it would collapse!! /s 200 Reply Share •..

Font - Particular_Cold_8366 · 7 hr. ago Even if you were still employed there, it's utter bullshit to expect people without kids to cover every holiday or vacation for those that do. Access to shifts and time off needs to be equal regardless of family status. 481 Reply Share •..
