Possessive Husband Insists On Touching Wife's Baby Bump Against Her Will To 'Bond' With Unborn Son
Pregnancy takes quite the toll on women's bodies. A tiny human is growing within, and that can't be easy for the body to take on. Some women have super smooth pregnancies, whereas others' pregnancies are quite tumultuous. Pregnancy is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. Because pregnancy can be such a crazy roller-coasted, we'd hope the people we're close with in our lives would be supportive as well as give us proper space when we need it as we undergo the craziness of it all. Unfortunately, not everyone respects boundaries, even when it comes to pregnant women. In today's 'Am I The A$$hole?' post, OP shared how she is excited about expecting, but her husband won't respect her boundaries at all. He touches her belly at all times in order to 'bond' with his unborn son (even though we could do plenty of that after the baby is born), and OP is really unhappy because she doesn't like unwarranted touch. Because he claims that it's also his baby, he's disregarded her pleas and keeps touching her against her will. We find his behavior extremely alarming, but what do you think? The husband could wait to bond with the baby once he's born. There's no rush to bond before he even gets out of the womb.
