Mothers-in-law are infamous for being cast as the villains in movies, which makes us wonder if this is another example of art mimicking reality. Are mothers-in-law really that horrid in real life? No matter what their daughters-in-law do, the MILs act as if they'll never be good enough to be with their sons. We wish everyone in the family could just get along so couples everywhere could live happily ever after, but unfortunately, that's not the case.
