Happy Friday, friends! We hope everyone is having, had, or will have a productive end of the week; finishing up all your busy business and getting ready for the weekend. Walking out of the office on a Friday evening may just be the most satisfying feeling in the world. As you walk through the lobby door, you realize that you have a whole two days of relaxation, pampering, and tons of fun ahead of you! Oh and we forgot to mention the best part; cuddling and spending time with our pets and animals (duh).
Speaking of animals and Fridays, we're back with our weekly segment with fun facts about the animal kingdom. Every week, we scour the web for the most interesting, fascinating, and unique facts about wildlife. This is just our way of showing appreciation for all the different animals and species out there. No matter if you're a mammal, a reptile, or a vertebrate, we see you!
We all know what else they help spread… kidding! There won't be any bat shaming here, not on our watch. Just like insects, bats play an incredible role in our ecosystem. Just like bees, they pollinate flowers and scatter seeds for a variety of trees, shrubs, and plants. Next time you see a bat, remember that!
Great things come in small packages, as they say. Not only is this precious little beetle incredibly beautiful and shiny (we love shiny), but incredibly useful as well! Look at her (or him) go, climbing that tree, and eating those scale insects. This little beetle is literally saving one tree at a time, what a hardworking queen.
