After a long day's work, there's nothing better than getting together with a few bros and kicking back to relax. Of course, we're not dissing anyone who loves to get home and just take their pants off, flop onto the couch and binge some TV. We do that a lot too. But, meeting friends always gives us that little extra bump of stress relief that we need. Go figure, but it turns out animals do the same thing too!
There's a great page on Reddit called r/Animalsbeingbros where you can go to see this kind of thing. With so many interesting posts every day, it's a great place to find hilarious pictures and videos of dogs, goats, horses and more just kicking back, chilling, and having a good time. But, if we kept staring at and refreshing that page– and trust me, we want to– we'd never get any work done in the first place! And, since you might have the same issue, we decided to save you some time and just compiled our favorite animals being bros in this article for you.
This wasn't an easy list to create. Hundreds of talented animals of all shapes and sizes were screened and auditioned, our writers scoured r/AnimalsBeingBros and left no stone unturned. We found creepy crawly ocean stuff, patient and educational dog stuff, a multi-species bear-bro-down, and a whole lot more that you're not going to want to miss. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start scrolling!
This stunning photo from mid-March of this year shows a tender moment between two of the bears at the Detroit Zoo in Michigan. These animals, both having been raised at the zoo, had already socialized together before, so zookeepers weren't too worried about letting them have a playdate. That being said, we'll rarely see pictures like this again. Male and female bears rarely socialize in the wild, especially if those bears come from entirely different species than each other.
Sometimes, doors and gates can be confusing. Do you push, or do you pull? Does this open, or is it just a wall feature? Is that an open door in front of us, or a pane of glass? This dog is struggling with all those calculations in his mind it seems, but thankfully, his buddy is there to bail him out. After running back to retrieve his friend, just look how happy they both are as they come trotting back towards the camera. Best friends forever!
