Delusional Dude Can Not Respect His Pregnant Girlfriend's Wishes Not To Adopt A Puppy After The Birth Of Their Child

What is going on nowadays with delusional dudes? We don't know what kind of kool-aid the man referenced in this scathing Reddit thread is drinking, but we most certainly do not want any bit of it! Today we came across a frustrating thread that left us biting our nails and screaming out our computer screens. So what had happened was…. the original poster of this thread is a 19-year-old woman expecting a child with her 20-year-old partner.

Their ages might not be relevant, as mama-to-be does seem to be very mature, her partner on the other hand could bear to learn a thing or two from her. This mans really is trying to convince his partner to adopt a puppy….directly after she gives birth. And will it be him that's staying home to watch the newborn and puppy? Y'all already know the answer to that question. Now, sashay away delusional dude.

    Font - that it'll be fine and dogs aren't that hard to train anyway. Now I've had a puppy when I was younger and remember vividly how stressful it was at times, puppies are literally baby dogs and still need just as much if not more attention than a human baby.     Font - UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge about these dogs. A few updates. -I'm considering asking his dad to talk him out of this idea, his dad is a single dad of 4 so he's knows the struggle of raising babies. -I've brought up the fact the apartment doesn't allow this breed of dog (I checked the lease) , he responded " So? They don't have to know what kind of dog we have"

They are not easy dogs and should be owned only by experienced people who have a lot of time to train, socialize, and care for such a breed. They are large and very high energy. My friend is a very experienced dog owner that owns her own home and adopted a cane corso puppy. He is over 130 Ibs and not done growing. He has destroyed so much of her belongings. She has a trainer come to her home twice a week to work with him and she still has issues

Also, unless your apartment is very very big, wouldn't it be cruel to keep such a large dog in the confines of an apartment? I cannot imagine that would go well, unless you have the time and energy for multiple very long walks every day, and have wide open spaces around you where he can run.
