A Spunky Selection Of Different Memes

There are only so many ways in which we can make a meme. In theory, there are infinite combinations of symbols and text that we are able to use to communicate a short, humorous idea. In reality, though, there are only a select few that are going to make the impact it takes for other people to enjoy them.

This doesn't have to be a bad thing. After all, it is what allows us to innovate with all the formats that we know and love.

However, it does mean that we're forever in search of the next big thing, another overarching trend that will take the internet by storm for all of five minutes, and then be drip fed back to us forever more. Sometimes, it's better to take the alternative point of view — enjoy all the content that isn't going to become an old favorite, just for the sake of it. You never know, it might make all the difference between it fading into obscurity and going down in the meme hall of fame.
