The science of attraction is one of the most interesting sciences in my humble opinion. I mean, come on, it's so varied and mysterious. What one person likes is not necessarily going to be at all attractive to another person. They say that opposites attract, but really research shows that 'alikes attract,' which definitely doesn't roll off the tongue but makes much more sense. People tend to like people who are similar to them because we usually think quite highly of ourselves, and feel comfortable with people who seem to share common knowledge. It's not a rule though, you will definitely find outliers who end up with people who seem to be complete opposites to them, and boy are they fun to watch.
On Reddit women were asked to share the things men have said that turned them off, maybe you'll relate to some of these, or maybe you'll go, "Hey, I love it when they say that!" That's the beauty of the study of attraction.
