One of the things I like best about working from home is the sense of peace it can provide. If I want to, I can listen to music without feeling like I'm being antisocial; alternatively, I can listen to the dulcet sounds of passing cars or drunken arguments outside while I bash out a couple hundred words about an internet argument, or a disturbing crab anecdote.
I'm pretty well suited to the more isolated lifestyle that is brought about by your apartment being your office, but not everyone feels the same way. Some people need a tad extra reassurance if they're going to make it in a WFH position, and this can come in all sorts of different ways. In the case of @kaylapratson, this involves putting on an "emotional support background noise movie" while she completes her daily tasks.
Sharing to TikTok that she was currently doing her work with Finding Nemo in the background, she was inundated with comments from people who said they did the exact same thing, and even wanted to provide recommendations. If you struggle with your own company in the workplace, perhaps this is the solution for you.
