The hunter has come back with a fresh kill, and we refuse to allow you making fun of it for capturing it. It was a difficult task. There were a whole lot of humans around that BBQ, cooing and awwing at it. Sneaking past them to grab this sausage was a lot of work, and it must be respected. Rock on, kitty, we gotchu.

It is good to know, on some level, that the experience of being a cat person has not changed since whenever this painting was made. We feel the same way as the woman in that bed - personally attacked by small little hungry demons in the morning if we are so much as five minutes late to feeding them.
